ART SHOW

Alliance Française has the pleasure to invite you to the official opening of a Paintings exhibition of 2 Tanzanian painters from Zanzibar: Soud Seif and Hamza M. Ausiy.

Soud Seif started his career as painter in 1998. His artwork deals widely with daily life he paints light and tone work. He participated in art exhibition in USA, Mauritius and Tanzania (Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam).

Hamza Ausiy was born in Zanzibar in 1966. In 2003 he was recommended in the East Africa Residency in Nairobi, where he had enough time to create his style and technique.

His paintings are monochrome, half breeding of impression and abstract using palette knife on canvas. Most of his works were influenced by the environment, history and culture of Zanzibar. He exhibited in Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam, Nairobi, South Africa and America.

Now he works as full time artist in ZAYAA GALLERY studio in Zanzibar.

bongo??Njoo uyaone basiiii, watoto wa Bakhresa wanaleta fleet yao yote
uwanjani,nadhani wanajulikana kwenye ishu ya magari yenye adabu hapa mjini
sihitaji kuongelea hilo sana,na kwa upande wapili kuna wadosi wabishi nao
wanaleta vitu vya kujibu mapigo so itakuwa kama mashindano flani ya nani
ana kitu kikali zaidi mjini,famous car yards in town pia wanaleta gari zao
siku hiyo, talk of Tokyo Cars, talk of Samoyaz, Car Mart na wengine wengi,
pia kutakuwa na The Most Pimped Cars in town, gari zenye muziki babu kubwa
zaidi kuliko yote, classic cars za 1940's,kutakuwa na maonesho ya misele
ya hatari,magari yatauzwa siku hiyo uwanjani pale pale,mapya,ya
zamani,hata kama una gari unaliuza pale unakuja nalo unakutana na possible
wateja mbali mbali,pia kama unataka kununua gari basi njoo pale uwanjani
ukutane na vyombo mbali mbali kwa ajili yako.Njoo uone magari uliyozoea
kuyaona kwenye video za kina 50 Cent,njo uyasogelee,uyaguse,upande,na
upige nayo picha vile uwezavyo.

Njoo ukutane na wataalamu wa kupamba magari, wauzaji wa vifaa vya kupambia
magari, wataalamu wa ku-pimp magari, hata kama unataka new body kit ya
gari lako liwe kama la star fulani,njoo utakutana na wataalamu siku hiyo
wakupe ushauri wa namna ya kulipimp gari lako, si unajua mambo ya "Pimp my
ride" ile ya Exzibit kwenye MTV???Basi njoo uonane na wataalamu wa maswala
yale hapa bongo.Wataalamu wa mifumo ya ulinzi wa magari pia watakuwepo.

Kama unahisi una gari kali, au iliyopimpiwa kisawasawa unaruhusiwa kuja
kushowcase it.Kwa ambaye atakuja na mkoko kwa ajili ya kuonesha wadau
kiingilio kitakuwa bure!Tunakaribisha pia ma-star wa bongo kuja na wao na
mikoko yao kutuonesha utofauti wa kuwa mtu wa kawaida na kuwa celebrity.

Apart from that kutakuwa na nyama choma as usual,bata kwa sana,live
performances,kids zone so unaweza kuja hata na mtoto/watoto maana kutakuwa
na michezo ya watoto pia, a kind of a family day out event.

After a few minutes, the Preacher removes his hands, stands back and asks, " Sipho, how is your hearing now?" Sipho says, "I don't know, Reverend, my hearing is only next Wednesday"

I hope you can help me.
The other day, I set off for work leaving my husband in the house watching TV.
My car started stalling and then it broke down about a mile down the road and I had to walk back to get my husband's help.

When I got home, Icouldn't believe my eyes. He was in our bedroom with the neighbour's daughter! I am 32, my husband is 34, and the neighbour's daughter is 19.
We have been married for ten years.

When I confronted him, he broke down and admitted that they had been having an affair for the past six months. He won't go to counselling and I'm afraid I am a wreck and need advice urgently.

Dear Sheila,

A car stalling after being driven a short distance can be caused by a variety of faults with the engine. Start by checking that there is no debris in the fuel line. If it is clear, check the vacuum pipes and hoses on the intake manifold and also check all grounding wires. If none of these approaches solves the problem, it could be that the fuel pump itself is faulty, causing low delivery pressure to the injectors.

A Pastor was driving in pounding rain at around 2.00am alone in his car and got to a checkpoint. The soaked policeman stopped him and asked for all the papers which he showed.

The policeman found nothing to ask in order to charge him.
Guess what, the police man suddenly said; "I charge you for driving alone at this time of the night, if you happen to get an accident now, who is going to tell your people?"
The Pastor replied: I’m not alone; Jesus Christ is with me here, Angel Gabriel, Angel Raphael,Angel Michael and five angels are with me here.
The police man then said:"Mmmh, all these people inside this small car of yours? I charge you for overloading!"
